This Is Sweden Calling

This Is Sweden Calling
This is Sweden calling Wales again. On our Swedish website on the Swansea City section of Svenskafans.com we have been discussing various stuff in the Forum. Especially a couple of things come to my mind after all.

The first issue is Joe Allen everybody seems to like the Wonder boy and the Swedish Jacks are no exception. With Bodde/Pratley in the central midfield, Britton to the right and Duffy/Scotland in front Roberto Martinez really has a pleasant problem .

Should he really keep Allen on the bench just because he īs 17 years old? I don īt think soâ€Ķand on the other hand should Duffy or Pratley be there instead? Luckily Swansea participates in four (now three) cups so maybe this problem will solve itself. Anyway, I think that Allen is the player that has been most impressive so far.

I īm very pleased with all the new Swansea players. It feel Bodde īs been playing for Swans the last five years or something. He fits in so well already, the only thing we are waiting for are some goals. The same goes with Anderson, I really like his speed and offensive talents.

Rangel on the right back seems very stable and I think he will only get better and better. De Vries is an excellent goalkeeper, we can īt blame him for the goals, and I īm happy we signed him.

Collins does anyone know anything about him yet? I feel a bit sorry for him īcause there won īt be much playing time this season, that īs for sure. Duffy has been a disappointment in the first games but there will be what we in Sweden call the Ketchup-effect ; first nothing happens then everything will come.

I have mixed feelings about the Reading Carling Cup game. On one hand it would have been nice to kick a Premiership team out of the tournament. On the other hand I want Swansea to focus on the League and get promoted. In Sweden, I believe the FA-cup feels a bit important for most of the fans.

Like I īve told you before, some of them Swedish Jacks will travel to Wales very soon! No we have an exact date of the arrival: Thursday, 27 September. It will be very nice to watch the Brighton game (2-0) and the Jacks of Sweden looks forward to meet all of you!

Thank you Pelle have a safe journey to the Liberty Stadium.
