Last weekend Swansea Beat Ostersunds FK 5-2 in the Jamkraft Arena.

There was to be some Swedish support from the Swedish Jack army on the terraces that day.

It may came as a surprise to many but there are a loyal group of Swansea City fans in Sweden. Pelle Nillson who is one of the web masters on Swansea City's Svenskafans.com site took some time out to answer some questions about supporting Swansea City.

1.What Is your name ?

Pelle Nilsson

2.How Long have you supported Swansea?

'Since 2000 or something like that. I wasn't too into internet in the beginning so it was a bit tricky to follow the team, really. Studied league tables and the goalscorers.!'

3.how do you follow the club in Sweden?

'Some members, like myself, get info from local Welsh based mailing lists. But mostly from internet sites of course. Like the official site, Vital football, scfc.co.uk and BBC. Since the friendly game in Sweden some Welsh people 'discovered' our Swedish site and then contacted me, so hopefully I can get some information this way as well from now on. '

4.Have you been to a Swansea City game?

'No, not yet. But this autumn I, together with some Jacks of Sweden, will travel to Wales! Almost certain we will stay there and watch both the Brighton and the Swindon home games. .'

5.What made you chose Swansea as your club to support? ?

'First,back in the eighties, I played computer games like all the other kids. I liked the name Swansea. And I enjoyed taking a lower division team to the top! Later, like I said, I started to follow Swans in the newspapers: league tables etc. When I discovered www.svenskafans.com , the largest football community site in Sweden, I really wanted to start and write stuff. To my surprise there was no Swansea page. Naturally I contacted the central administration and the site started in September last year. Since I am the editor, I have to know a lot of what is going on in the club. With knowledge comes interest and now I am a manic Jack of Sweden! '

6.What do your friends think of you supporting Swansea City, I would imagine not a lot of people know the club?

'They wonder why and surely thinks a bit strange. Everybody supports teams like Arsenal, Man. U., Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus, Inter and so on. I think it's very charming with a smaller club fighting to get up there, not having to by Christiano Ronaldo each and every day.'

7What do you think of our signings this season ?

'Pretty good, all of them actually. Bodde seems to be a fantastic attacking midfielder and Collins will surely make good things happen in the midfield as well. Rangel is the kind of attacking defender we really need in Swansea. Together with Britton a bit up front, the right side seems almost perfect. De Vries will compete with Gueret and competition is what this position needs. Anderson seems to be a fantastic player, the two goals from the ostersund game is just a starter I can promise. Duffy we know about from before and Id be surprised if he would disappoint us. Bussy and Scotland, especially the last one, will give us the things Fallon and Akinfenwa had a hard time give us: goals. .'

8.Do you feel Roberto Martinez is the manager to take the club to the championship?

'Yes! The players seems to respect him. He seems determined and know what he wants: he's been playing for the club and know what it takes to get what he wants. He's young and full of energy. The players also seems to enjoy his ideas in training. He's got a lot of connections in Europe and work very hard to make this network expand. .'
