Fans Eye View of Bodde

Fans Eye View of Bodde
There are rumors afoot that the Bodde Deal may still be on. Not a lot is known about potential Swans Signing Ferrie Bodde so to fill in any gaps Danny Schoofs the Secretary of the Official Den Hagg Supporters Club Tells us all. Sit back and relax for Ferrie Bodde 101.

Danny has been a supporter of the club since he was 4 years only taking in 25 seasons with Den Hagg. Bodde will only cost the swans little over 80k Danny considers this fee a fair assesment ' I think it is, i also think when he is ever gonna leave swansea it is a bigger player than he is right now, he is a nice lad with a lot of potentials.'

When I asked about his strengths and weaknesses as a player Danny was quick to point out one key concern over Bodde's temperament but was quick to show praise for his dead ball skills. 'He is a hard player, he gets a lot of cards here, but we at ADO loves players with big effort during the game. And he is very good at taking free kicks.' With some of the disciplinary problems that we have that does not bode well. However in spite of this Danny expressed views on Bodde's disciplinary problems ' A player who gets irritated when some things are not going the way it should be...acorrding to him! just a good thing that all players should had!"

Danny was also critical of his defending as Bodde has played as a defender in his career. ' Last year i think he didn't defend well.' This will be a concern for Roberto but with some work these frailties can be overcome. I also asked Danny about if he thought Bodde would be a good player for the Swans and he thought Bodde could be a fans favorite. ' For Swansea he is a good player, i think he will be loved by the fans just like here.'

Bodde has also struggled to hold down a first team place I asked Danny why this was the case ' it has to do with a lot of reasons, like a bad start with our coach then....during the season all players lost their faith in a good ending...And it is for ferrie a good thing that he has gone to another club, for his improvement!'

Thank you Danny for your views , we shall be monitoring the Situation with great interest.

Discipline is his weakness. We cannot afford to only have 10 players on the field. We found this to our cost last season, losing games that the 3 points would have put us into the play-offs.

I agree with willow. We allready have alot of cards given to our players as it is - do we really need somebody who makes a habit of picking up cards?

Doesn't sound great but is it sour grapes after a season of disappointment and losing a good player?

I agree that bad disciplinary is not something we need as we already have our problems...but I think Roberto will install professionallism into our players that avoid stupid red cards...for example Alan Tate's away to Millwall if you've seen it...Danny didn't mention anything positive about Bodde's performance in open play...just said he has potential...that doesn't fill me with confidence!

Hey im here to ease all of your worries, NOT. The team he played for ADO Den Haag went down this season with one of the lowest points ever, only beaten by RBC last year and he wasn't the greatest in the disaplinarary either. If any of you remember micheal Mols then you should try and snap him up cause this guy is a shocker!
