'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Chris Jones

Another by-product of the Swansea youth set up, Jones signed his first professional contract in October 2006 and has made 7 substitute appearances for the club.

He is a much sought after youngster and attracted interest from premiership clubs but turned down the offer to stay with his home town club.

He made his first senior appearance this season against Walsall in the Johnsons paint trophy, he has also made an appearance against Millwall at the liberty stadium.

He is a pacey striker who has had a excellent scoring record for the reserves and youth team.

What do the fans think of Chris Jones?

"Good prospect has everything a striker needs but hasnt been given a real chance . But once again another good player for the future."
Josho

"great goal scorer at every level he has been at, has lots of confidence at such a young age, shoots from anywhere. cons needs to get more games."
Aspaullhill

"18 year old with plenty of promise. Has only made 7 appearances, all as a sub. He has shown that he has pace and the confidence to go for goal. Next season I hope to see him play more than 10 minutes."
