Shaun MacDonald

Shaun is a by product of the Swansea youth Set up.

McDonald signed his first professional contract with the Swans in the 2005/06 Season after impressing then manager Kenny Jackett.

He made his senior debut against Gillingham last season and has made 3 full appearances and 5 substitute appearances this season. He has also been capped at under-21 level for Wales.

He has an eye for goal and is a very organised player, he has been sidelined for the last part of the season through injury and will hope to secure more first team action next season.

What do the fans think of McDonald?

"Limited appearances to 5 and 5 as sub. Due to injuries has not had the games to show his ability. At only 18 years of age, I believe he will come good next season."
Willow

"great attacking with ball, gets stuck in, good passer, learning every year, cons still learning."
aspaulhill

"Haven't really seen much of Shaun McDonald and i think its very unfortunate that he suffered his injury. The only performance i remember is the game against Southend last season where he had a terrific game and looked a good prospect for the future."
