Darren Way

Darren Way
Nationality: English
Date of Birth: 21/11/1979
Height: 5' 7' (170cm)
Weight: 11st 0lbs (69.92kg)
Previous Clubs: Norwich City, Yeovil Town
Position:Midfielder

Darren Way started his career with Norwich City in their youth set up, however he failed to secure first team action with the canaries.

He was then signed by the Glovers who were then playing in the Conference. He spent 5 seasons with the Somerset outfit making well over 200 appearances for Yeovil town.

He was firmly a fans favourite at Huish Park and even played against Swansea City last season before his move for 150,000 to south Wales. He has had a torrid time with injuries and has only made 4 full and 5 substitute appearances for the club since his move.

What do the fans think of Darren Way?

"In the few games where he has played for us he looked good. Strong tackler and always gave 100% he looked qutie creative and i think once he gets back to full fitness he could be a very important player."
Josho

"great all round midfielder cons: has been injured since coming from the Huish."
Aspaullhill

"joining in January 2006 has only made 6 appearances and 8 as substitute. Not much of a return on our 150,000 investment. A midfielder who played well against us whilst with Yeovil. We will have to wait until next season for a fit(?)"
