Only Bartley Unavailable For Burnley Trip

Only Bartley Unavailable For Burnley Trip
Paul Clement has an injury boost ahead of Saturday's tough trip to Burnley.

The Swansea City head coach has struggled with some injuries to his squad in recent games, but the likes of Leon Britton, Angel Rangel, Wilfried Bony, Renato Sanches and Martin Olsson are all set to be available for selection again following the two-week international break.

Clement confirmed in Thursday's pre-match press conference that only defender Kyle Bartley is still unavailable due to injury.

He told the Official Site that both Bony and Sanches have been very frustrated with the season so far, due to injury setbacks and not being able to hit the levels they were hoping to.

"Wilfried and Renato have both been extremely frustrated,"

"Renato had some ups and downs in his performances after joining us, with some good things and some not so good.

"Then he picked up the injury. He was close to being ready for Brighton, but we held him back because we didn`t want to risk losing him for longer.

"Now he is raring to go, and it`s a similar situation with Wilfried.

"He wanted to come back here and hit the ground running, to pick up where he left off a couple of years ago by scoring goals and creating goals.

"That has not happened yet, but he is focused and he is desperate to do well. We are glad to have both of them back involved."

Left back Martin Olsson is also available again, meaning that the Swans no longer have to rely on midfielder Sam Clucas for cover, Clement added:

"Martin didn`t play in either game for Sweden, but he and Kristoffer Nordfeldt have come back very happy that their nation are going to the World Cup,"

"Martin did a really good session with us yesterday where he put a lot of work in, so he is ready."

"I am pleased that after some injury struggles, everybody apart from Kyle Bartley is available,"

"That`s going to help us. When you have a healthy squad you have more options and that`s obviously a good thing.

"As a manager, that`s what you want."
