Bony Set To Replace Spurs Bound Llorente
Chelsea were initially front runners for the Spaniard, having been interested in signing him in January, but Spurs have quickly moved to the front of the queue, and are expected to pay us a £12m fee for his services, which was accepted earlier today.
Wilfried Bony coming back to us from Manchester City is also expected to cost roughly the same fee, who left us for the Etihad Stadium for £25m back in 2015.
The 28 year-old is expected to have a medical before completing the move well in advance of tonight's 11pm deadline.
Swansea fans are also waiting on the confirmation of the season-long loan signing Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich - one of the biggest coups in our history if we manage to pull it off, we're still waiting for the paperwork to come through before being able to officially announce it.
Talks with Manchester City regarding Bony started earlier this Summer but the hold up has mainly been around the future of Fernando Llorente, as the Swans would unlikely accommodate both strikers within the squad. With Llorente now set to leave, the Swans now have the go ahead to push through a move to bring Wilfried Bony home.
