Leon Knight To Gillingham?

There are rumours emerging that out-of-favour-but-bloody-good-goalscorer Leon Knight is on his way to Gillingham.

The striker had a 2-month loan spell at Championship Barnsley but he failed to score, blaming this on his lack of training with the Swans.

It seems he's setting his sights too high as realistically, he's looking at a move to another League One club at best.

At the time of his falling out with manager Kenny Jackett, he rejected the chance to join Northampton and Peterborough. It was also rumoured at the time that Millwall and Gillingham attempted to sign him.

There is also speculation suggesting Scunthorpe will try to bring him to Glanford Park if they lose either Andy Keogh or Billy Sharp, who have both caught the attention of Championship clubs.

Again, this is simply a rumour, and nothing more.
