At Least 3 First Team Players To Miss Final 2 Games

At Least 3 First Team Players To Miss Final 2 Games
Swansea City head coach Francesco Guidolin has confirmed that three regular first team players will not feature in the remaining two games of the season.

Welsh duo Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor and Icelandic midfielder Gyldi Sigurdsson will all sit out the last 2 games - away at West Ham before finishing at home against Manchester City as they're nursing injuries -while Williams is in need of a rest after barely missing a kick this year.

Winger Jefferson Montero may also be out for the West Ham game on Saturday as he's 'not 100%', so Guidolin will be forced into making a few changes to his starting line-up.

The likes of Stephen Kingsley, Jordi Amat and Kyle Bartley will be hoping to replace the Welsh duo - who look forward to Euro 2016 next month, while the likes of Emnes, Ki and Fulton hoping for an opportunity in midfield.

Guidolin confirmed:

'We have Ashley, Neil and Gylfi all out. Gylfi and Neil need treatment so they are not available. Ash is very tired because he has played a lot of games this season and before,'

'Jeff Montero is not 100 per cent. He has a little injury.

'Neil and Gylfi are injured so it's better they rest and be okay for next season.

'In my opinion, after the Euros players need three weeks of holiday. If I was here, the pre-season would start on July 4 for other players and July 13 or 14 for Euro players.

'Ash needs a break.

'Ashley is our skipper, he's the captain of the team, a good player and a leader. He's very important for our team.'

Striker Paloschi is still sidelined with a hamstring injury, but loanee Leroy Fer should be back in contention this weekend.

Who would you start for the remaining 2 games? Who deserves the replace some of the senior players? Let us know in the comments below...
