5m & Sigurdsson For Spurs-bound Davies & Vorm

Swansea City look set to receive up to 5m and former loanee Gylfi Sigurdsson in exchange for duo Ben Davies and Michel Vorm - who are expected to complete their moves to Spurs early this week.

Spurs have been heavily linked with the duo - especially Ben Davies for a number of weeks now - and the two clubs have finally met an agreement on a sale involving all three players.

it's believed that the talks have gone on for so long because of a few stumbling blocks - one of the main ones being Gylfi Sigurddson's preference to stay at White Hart Lane, with personal terms at Swansea City initally not meeting his demands.

However, the Daily Mail believe that Spurs are willing to subsidise his wages in order to make the move happen. Crystal Palace's accepted 8m bid also threw a spanner in the works, while the Swans also wanted more money than Spurs were willing to offer if Sigurdsson wasn't coming the other way.

Ben Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson have both recently pulled out of friendly matches in the USA with their respective clubs - adding to the rumours, while Michel Vorm has yet to team up with his Swansea team-mates following his extended involvement in the World Cup.

It's expected that the moves will be made official on Tuesday or Wednesday, with Sigurdsson rumoured to sign a three-year contract at Swansea City as a straight swap for Ben Davies, while Vorm will move for a fee in the range of 3.5-5m.
