Emnes Becomes Swansea's 4th Summer Signing
The Dutchman has become a favourite amongst the Swans fans ever since scoring the winner at Cardiff City back in 2010.
Emnes will be welcomed back by the supporters again as he joins for the third time - this time permanently following a successful loan spell towards the end of last season.
The frontman, who can also operate in a central attacking midfield role or as a winger, proved to be a useful impact player from the bench, coming on to win two penalties in two vital wins to help the club steer towards safety, as well as scoring a goal himself.
Emnes, completing the move from Championship side Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee - thought to be just less than £1.5m told the Official site that he was delighted to complete the move to the Liberty Stadium:
"I`m delighted - I`ve waited a long time to become a Swansea City player,"
"From the minute I got here I had a good time. I`ve played some good games and I wanted to play for Swansea, while the club also wanted me.
"When I first arrived Swansea were in the Championship and I did well in the month I spent here.
"Last season I came back and with Swansea in the Premier League it was a good test for me to prove myself. I think I did well enough to earn my move permanently."
