Transfer Window Watch: Ince Set For Swansea Talks?

Transfer Window Watch: Ince Set For Swansea Talks?
Rumours are hotting up that Blackpool winger Tom Ince has moved closer to completing a move to Swansea City.

Various message forums and social media websites are full of rumours suggesting that the 21 year-old is set to discuss personal terms at the Liberty Stadium after a fee had been agreed.

That means absolutely nothing at this stage of course, but Swansea's chances of securing one of their main January targets could be boosted as his father, Paul Ince's managerial position at Blackpool appears in doubt. If his father leaves the club, he also may feel a move up to the Premier League is the next step he needs to make in his career following his desires to play for the England senior team.

Not only that, but the player's contract expires in the Summer, which halves his value from 8m to around 4-4.5m.

Tom Ince recently said that he would stay on with the Seasiders until the end of the season, but has he changed his mind in the last week or so?

The Swans are currently short on wingers, with only 2 available following the injuries to Pablo Hernandez and Nathan Dyer.

hope this true, we need wingers as Routledge can't beat a man or get a good cross in, and Lamah isn't quite good enough really. Test for Ince to see if he can prove himself for an England call up

He's too much an ego player in my opinion, would he graft for the team? I doubt it. And we don't want to be paying big wages for someone who may be another Sinclair and scoot off when the bigger clubs come calling.

By the way eye_ nose_ hat, Routledge produced a superb cross for Bony's winner against Man U and has improved game by game.

about time as well Phil! He didn't deliver one accurate cross against Man City and I think he managed 1 successful take on. He's been poor lately so it was good to see score 1 and create the winner. Should boost his confidence now which he really needs
