Michu Out, Hernandez & Rangel To Return

Swansea's top scorer Michu looks set to miss the trip to Fulham, but fellow Spaniard's Rangel and Hernandez are expected to return.

Swans boss Michael Laudrup told a press conference today that while it is a blow to see their top goalscorer sidelined for one, possibly two games, they should be boosted with the returns of right back Angel Rangel, and winger Pablo Hernandez.

Hernandez could have returned at Reading on Boxing Day but Laudrup insisted that he didn't want to take the risk.

"He is better. In a few days he could be ready, but he is ruled out of tomorrow`s game.

"With some good work from the physios then he could be okay for Tuesday.

"To say you don`t miss your top-scorer is a lie. But you can`t count on working with one player all the time."

There is better news surrounding fellow Spaniards Angel Rangel and Pablo Hernandez, who are both available after missing the last few games through injury.

"He (Hernandez) was more or less ready for the Reading game, but with muscle injuries you can`t risk anything,"

"It is important the player feels 100 per cent, but he and Angel will both be travelling with us.

"It is always a positive thing when you have two good players in one position.

Laudrup also said how happy he has been with his replacements for the likes of Hernandez and Vorm, who have been out injured recently.

"Dwight (Tiendalli) has done very well at right-back. Everyone feels comfortable with the way we play, and if we lose someone then the player who comes in knows what to do.

"We have seen it with Gerhard (Tremmel), Garry (Monk) and the wide players. Of course, we have seen it with Ben (Davies) for a while too."
