Hernandez & Vorm Will Miss Spurs Trip

Hernandez & Vorm Will Miss Spurs Trip
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup at a press conference this afternoon that Pablo Hernandez and Michel Vorm still remain sidelined with injuries.

It was hoped that the duo would return for Sunday's difficult trip to Spurs, but Hernandez may be back the following week to face Manchester United, while Laudrup is being patient with Vorm's return from a lengthy groin problem.

Hernandez has been out since the West Brom game at the end of November, after picking a thigh injury in the game - in which he produced a man of the match performance.

Vorm meanwhile, has been out since suffering a groin injury at the end of October in the narrow 1-0 defeat at Manchester City.

However, the Dutch goalkeeper says Tremmel's excellent form as his replacement means there's no rush for him to return to the first team.

Laudrup confirmed their absences:

"Michel is back in training now, and getting closer and closer all the time. But we would rather wait four or five extra days to make sure he is 100 per cent fit and ready.

"But Pablo is definitely out. There was a chance that he could have played last weekend, but he felt something in training and we are due to play four games in 20 days and we`ll hopefully have him for at least two of those."
