Ki Likely To Miss Newcastle Trip

Ki Likely To Miss Newcastle Trip
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is expecting to be without Ki Sung Yeung for the trip to Newcastle United next Saturday.

The South Korean midfielder was forced to leave the field during today's 1-1 draw at Southampton after picking up a hamstring injury.

He will have a scan to determine the extent of the problem, but Laudrup briefly told the Official Site that he expects to see him sidelined for 10 days:

"Until he has the scan we won`t know for sure,`'

"I think we are looking at around 10 days, but we`ll see.''

The news comes a blow to the team, but Laudrup has other options available to him. He could drop Michu back into midfield to cover Ki and bring in either Danny Graham or Luke Moore. Or he could hand Kemy Agustien his first start of the season.
