Beattie Set For 8 Weeks Out Injured

Swansea City have been dealt a blow with the news that Craig Beattie will be sidelined for around 8 weeks due to ankle ligament damage.

The Scottish striker has yet to feature for the Swans in the Premier League this season but he has been scoring regularly in pre-season and Reserve games.

Beattie has found it difficult to even get a place on the bench in the Premier League with Luke Moore and Leroy Lita ahead of him in the pecking order.

Swansea City are also without Kemy Agustien for around 6 weeks following a hamstring injury he suffered in Saturday's defeat at Arsenal.
