Scunthorpe Away Is Pay On The Day
There is no additional charge for fans who want to pay on the day, as opposed to paying in advance for tickets for the game at Glanford Park.
Adults 16 to Under-21s: £17
Disabled: Relevant price above (wheelchair / ambulant) with FREE carer
Scunthorpe United have given Swansea City an allocation of 718 tickets for the game.
Here are more details on the trip to Scunthorpe United, written on a Scunthorpe United forum in response to a question from one of our members:
Yes: it's possible to park at the ground: there are plenty of spaces there, (is £3 I believe), a Garden centre nearby that charge a couple of quid: and plenty of supermarkets, pubs and fast-food places if you want to take your chances.
If you want to get straight back onto the motorway from after the game, then there shouldn't be any problems: although it might take a while to get the car out of the car park afterwards owing to congestion.
Providing you lot don't sell out - then yes: you'll be able to buy tickets on the day. And given that if the demand is there: away sides can get up 2,100 - I assume you're not likely to be selling out.
The ticket office is only round the corner from the away stand, there's not usually a big queue and the prices are the same regardless of whether bought in advance or on the day.
You can sometimes even just pay cash at the turnstiles for entry: got to be worth checking first!
Unfortunately: this is where I must bear bad news - the train station is bloody miles away!
It's a good 3 or so miles away: and if you know where you're going - then it'll take 45-odd minutes on foot: definitely not something I'd reccomend.
Your best option would be to grab a taxi from outside the station - although if you fancy a drink in town first: it's only a 5 or so minute walk to plenty of football friendly drinking holes....
