'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Remembering The Vetch Field - Part 1

Plans are now in place to begin the demolition of the Vetch Field, almost 7 years since it last hosted a football match and Vital Swansea would like to bring back some memories of the ground that was our home for 92 years between 1912 and 2004.

The Vetch Field, an ugly but lovely Ground, full of angles and different stands, hostile, full of history and memories that last a lifetime.

From top flight football, to surviving the drop out of the Football League, The Vetch has seen it all and after nearly 7 years, it'll finally be demolished. No longer will the East Stand floodlight stand-out as you make your way into the City centre!

Here's our choice for a collection of images and videos of the Vetch Field in the first part of the series of Vetch Field memories.
