Gower Sidelined For A Month With Hamstring Injury

Swansea City have suffered a blow with the news that Mark Gower faces a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

The 32 year-old midfielder was forced to be substituted early on during last Saturday's 1-0 win at Reading, and scans later revealed that he had suffered a grade two tear.

The news comes as a blow to manager Brendan Rodgers as Gower has been one of the most consistent performers so far this season, but we have the likes of David Cotterill and Joe Allen to come in and replace him.

New signing, 24 year-old Kemy Agustien is also close to making his debut for the Swans as he's expected to play for the Reserves next Wednesday against Exeter City.

A big blow for us as he's been excellent so far but Allen will come in and do a good job for us.
