Johnson To Sign On Monday?

Swansea City made a bid of £100,000 for Wycombe defender Roger Johnson and a few things back up this claim that he'll be signing for us on Monday:

> The News of the World reported that ''Kenny Jackett looked to have a bid accepted'' for the 23 year-old Wanderers captain.

> He was seen at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

> Site member 'couchpotatoe' posted an article comment which read:

''we have signed somebody (providing the medical goes good) and thats official. Chances are its Johnson. This will be officially announced monday You heard it from me first.''

Again we must point out that this is a rumour and nothing more.

I'll be surprised if a £100,000 bid is accepted because Wycombe fans regard him as their best player and that it would take a very high bid to tempt their board to accept.

Check the site later today for updates on this.
