Swansea City Await Rangel Scan Results

Swansea City are awaiting the results of Angel Rangel's groin scan after he picked up an injury during last Saturday's defeat at Bristol City.

The Spanish full back suffered the problem just 7 minutes into the game and was replaced by Albert Serran - who looks likely to keep that place this weekend when we host Barnsley at the Liberty Stadium.

Fede Bessone is getting closer to return to first team football but there is yet another fresh injury concern for striker Craig Beattie. The former West Bromwich Albion frontman has picked up a hip muscle complaint which the club are monitoring on a daily basis.
