Britton Set To Return For Posh

Leon Britton looks set to hand Paulo Sousa a boost by returning on Saturday as we face bottom-side Peterborough United at the Liberty Stadium.

The midfielder has missed the last 3 games with a back injury but he said he trained on Wednesday without problems:

'I trained yesterday (Wednesday) and I had no reaction to my back,'

'It's been frustrating, I was only injured for a week and in that time to miss three games wasn't great.

'But I've been fortunate in my career with injuries, you're going to miss the odd game but it's important that I've got my back right for the game on Saturday.'

Manager Paulo Sousa will be hoping he's back as Joe Allen and Andrea Orlandi are both sidelined.

Ferrie Bodde has even been tipped for a return to solve our lack of numbers in the centre of midfield.
