Allen Could Be Out For 3 Weeks

Joe Allen faces a further injury setback and he could be sidelined for another 3 weeks.

The young Welshman made a return from a hamstring injury in the Bristol City game but he was forced off with a recurrence of the problem he picked up at Leicester City on the opening day of the season.

Leon Britton is in a race to be fit for tomorrow's game at Doncaster with an ingrowing toe nail, while Andrea Orlandi will definitely miss out after damaging a quad muscle in training.

Cedric Van Der Gun, who has a similar problem, has a chance of starting and Nathan Dyer and Jordi Lopez both sit out as they serve one-match bans.

Guillem Bauza, Albert Serran and Kris O'Leary are all out with injuries.

Darren Pratley and Tom Butler could be forced to start due to the amount of midfielders we have out with injury or suspension.

is there something very wrong with our training methods, or is it our pitch, something has to be done about this massive problem we have

Quite a few have mentioned the pitch but I disagree, maybe it's because we play on the ground? But I too would be interested to hear from the various camps involved first before pointing the finger.
