Joe Allen is a product of the Youth setup at the club. He plays in midfeild, he has pace but needs to work on his conditioning and strength in order to make the step up from youth to leauge level.
He has been playing in the reserves this season and made his first leauge appearance as as 2nd half sub vs Blackpool on the last day of last season.
Allen has a work man like attitude and works to get into good positions on the field.
Allen supports Manchester Untied and his favorite players are Ronaldinho and Zidane.
After impressing Roberto Martinez the diminutive midfeilder was awarded with his first professional contract. This contract will keep him with the club till 2010.
Allen has also won his first international call up for the Welsh Squad that will face Sweden this month.
