Darren Started his career with Fulham in 2003, he showed much promise at craven cottage but was unable to break into the first team. Darren was a much sought after player and many clubs tried to secure his services on a loan basis. In his time at Fulham he was the Reserves Captain, he also made one premiership appearance and one Carling cup appearance for the Craven Cottage outfit.

Swansea City were one of those clubs however, Darren decided to make a short hop over to Griffin Park than a move to South Wales. Pratley impressed the bees and made 46 appearances and scored 5 goals for Brentford.

Darren headed back to the cottage with hope that he could break into the first team but it was not meant to be.

Swansea made another approach to Fulham to secure his services and at the second time of asking we signed him for a fee of £100,000. He has been an influential player in the centre of the park and has even taken over the captain's armband from injured Defender Garry Monk. Darren has impressed at his time so far at the Liberty with his excellent distribution, Work rate, strength and intelligent play have all been key areas of strength in Darren's Play. He has been sidelined for a part of the season due to injury.
