Andrea Orlandi was born in the 3rd August 1984 in Barcelona. He is a versatile player who can play anywhere on the left hand side and can fill in as a 2nd striker.

He has spent two seasons on loan to FC Barcelona and has started three games for the first team alongside Eto'o.

Two of his first team apperances were in the Copa Catalunya which was eventually won by Barcelona.

His third was in La Liga; on the 20th May 2006 in the La Liga clash against Athetic Bilbao. Orlandi lined up in the Barcelona defense in the 3-1 loss at the San Mamés.

Orlandi has also 66 apperances in Barcelona B (Reserve side) to his name.

The Spaniard has also has had a spell with Greek Super League side Aris Saloniki.

He has signed a 1 year deal on a free transfer from Deportivo Alavés.

Orlandi has found it difficult to force his way into the starting line-up despite impressing in the rare occasions he has played.

Following the departure of Martinez, who incidentally signed him, Orlandi says he feels like a new player and he would have left the club if Roberto had stayed. He signed a new 1 year contract in Summer 2009.
