We Are Top Of The League!

Swansea City go top of League One after a 4-1 away win at bottom-placed Bournemouth.

4 more goals today mean Martinez's side have scored 11 goals in 3 games.

The Swansea boss named an unchanged side from last weekend as Pratley returned from a leg injury he suffered in midweek.

We took the lead after just 14 minutes when Ferrie Bodde curled in a superb free-kick from around 25 yards out.

The hosts tried to get back in the game and Wilson went close but his header from Anderton's cross went just over.

Feeney and Pratley had chances to double our lead before Lawrence scored on 28 minutes. He headed home from a corner, yes a corner, that must be our first goal from a corner in a while!

Just a few minutes after scoring, the defender conceded a rather soft penalty at the other end. Bradbury converted and it was game on.

Bond's side came out in the second half and were having the most of the play early on, pegging the Swans back in their own half.

We managed to withstand the pressure and Butler went close to extending our lead but his shot hit the side netting.

Bodde and Feeney also tried their luck from long range but they failed to hit the target.

Bradbury then went close to grabbing a brace and Bournemouth's equaliser, but De Vries made an excellent save.

We then had 3 chances all in one move to kill the game off. Feeney completed missed his shot while the keeper saved Anderson's effort.

Bournemouth looked favourites to score throughout the second half but the Swans put the game beyond doubt late on as Feeney scored 2 in 4 minutes.

He scored the penalty spot and then got on the end of a Pratley pass to make it 4-1.

Carry on like this and we should go up this season. We have to play from the first whistle till the last though. Our defence sounded a bit dodgy at the start of both halfs.

Now we are at the top, everyone will be after our scalp.
