FT: Ostersund 2-5 Swansea

FINAL SCORE: OSTERSUND 2 SWANSEA 5

Swansea City have kicked off their pre-season friendlies with a comfortable 5-2 victory against Swedish side Ostersund.

Darren Pratley, Darryl Duffy, Ferrie Bodde and Paul Anderson (2) were on the score sheet for the Swans.

There are reports coming out of Sweden that the game was played at a high tempo with a lapse of concentration from Ostersunds full back Runesson which led to one of Anderson's goals.

All first team players had a taste of the action with Martinez fielding different sides in the first and second halves.

Kevin Amankwaah, Kristian O'Leary, Alan Tate and Jason Scotland did not take part in the game as they picked up injuries during training in the week.

The Youth Team won their match today 6-0.

It is positive that new signings Bodde, Anderson and Duffy found the net.

The Squad will now fly back to the UK and will have a series of Pre Season friendlies with League of Wales sides. The squad will continue preparations for next season with games against Neath Athletic being the opposition on the 18th, Llanelli fc on the 19th and a short hop to the Remax Stadium on the 25th to face Port Talbot.

It is good news to see that our new signings were able to find the net! Did Anderson play on the left or the right wing?
