Swansea 0 - Scunthorpe 2

Liberty Stadium

Swansea 0-2 Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe extended their winning to 4 games without conceding a single goal after an easy win against the Swans at the Liberty Stadium tonight.

It took the league leaders just 3 minutes to get off the mark as Billy Sharp found the net early on.

With 20 minutes remaining, Beckford finished the game off with an easy tap in as Gueret could only parry MacKenzie's shot.

There was some major bad news for the Swans as well as Akinfenwa was stretchered off with a broken leg.

Our chances of a play-offs are getting slimmer by the game as we are now 5 points adrift of Tranmere but with a game in hand.
