Swans Lose At Priestfield

Swansea City failed to build on their last two consecutive victories after suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium today.

The hosts found themselves 2 goals up inside of 30 minutes and they then extended their lead with 11 minutes remaining.

Jackett made a surprising change as he dropped Butler in favour of Andy Robinson on the left side of midfield.

Leon Knight scored a consolation goal with an overhead kick 5 minutes from the end but it was too little too late as also had a goal dissallowed.

Gillingham: Flinders, Jupp, Cox, Johnson, Jackman, Bentley, Flynn, Crofts, Jarvis, Easton, Mulligan (Ndumbu-Nsungu 60).
Subs Not Used: Pouton, Spiller, McDonald, Clohessy.

Booked: Easton.

Goals: Cox 14, Jarvis 30, Cox 79.

Set-Pieces letting us down again...Dissapointed result but we're up the right end of the table!! Good result on sautrday will put us right back in the mix as Tranmere play Forest!! Come on City!!
