Swansea City got back to winning ways this weekend after beating Bradford City 1-0 thanks to a goal by super-sub Andy Robinson.
It was a much better performance in front of only 11,481 at the Liberty Stadium as the Swans extend their unbeaten run to 4 games.
Kenny Jackett was boosted with the return of defender Denis Lawrence as he started at the back alongside Iriekpen.
Tate then moved up into midfield along with Pratley, Butler and Britton.
Akinfenwa also replaced Fallon who was dropped to the bench and it didn't take long before the big man proved why he should be in the starting line-up.
We started the game well as Akinfenwa got into a good shooting position but a Bradford defender managed to put the ball out for a corner.
We were creating a lot chances early on but the linesman was flagging for offside every time which started to annoy our strikers.
We kept the ball on the floor a lot more than in previous games which is what we all want to see. It's clear that our squad are more than capable of playing this way and lets hope that continues.
Butler was playing well out wide on the left and he went close with a long range effort just outside the area. He made a good as he made his way inside but his shot went just past the far post.
He also went close when he hit the post from close range after another good attacking run.
Akinfenwa received a good reception from the home crowd as his performance proved that he deserved a starting place. His strength and power were causing all sorts of problems for the Bantams' defence but his lack of power on his shots was letting him down throughout the game.
He had quite a few chances to get a goal to cap off a good performance but their keeper was finding it easy to save his weak attempts on goal.
Bradford also created a few chances of their own but the defence were pretty solid.
Despite all our effort and chances created we went in at the break goalless. Unlike last Friday's game against Yeovil, our performance didn't drop as went in search of breaking the dead-lock.
Akinfenwa went close again from Trundle's cross. He slid in to reach his cross but unlikely his attempt hit the post.
Kenny Jackett then made his first change of the match, bringing on Andy Robinson to replace Leon Britton. And within 6 minutes he put us a goal in front.
The ball was played out wide to Robinson on the right. He did well to run inside onto his left foot and his low drive at goal flashed past an idle Ricketts in the Bradford goal.
Trundle then had a chance to put the game beyond doubt when he was put through by Butler but his close range shot hit the post.
Bradford tried to get that equaliser but we managed to hold out for all 3 points as we now look to have gained some much needed confidence after some poor performances lately.
