Swansea City 1 - Carlisle United 2

Attendance:

Swans 1 Carlisle 2

Swansea City were defeated by Carlisle United at the Vetch for a second time in two seasons and it was the same scoreline as last season. Paul Connor got the Swans off to a great start when he headed the ball under the goalkeeper but it wasn't long after that Carlisle found an equaliser an easily got back into the game.

They were given a penalty although many home fans believed it was a dive.

Carlisle looked like they wanted more, showed the fight and spirit as they aim to avoid relegation and didn't lack ideas when on the attack whereas the hosts were the opposite and Carlisle's winner came and it was a superb finish and recieved a round of applause from the home support of just over 5,000.
