Watford Claim Revenge As Swans Stall In Cup

Swansea City's Carling Cup run and home unbeaten run came to an end tonight as Watford claimed revenge after their 3-1 defeat on Sunday.

Roberto Martinez's side, which saw 8 changes to the team that played on the weekend, slumped to a 1-0 loss in the 4th round of the League Cup as Williamson netted again against us after poor marking from the home defence.

The Hornets maintained the lead for the remaining 80 minutes of the game as the Swans struggled to perform to their usual standard and create any decent chances on goal.

Substitute Jordi Gomez came closest late in the second half as his shot hit the post while in the first half, Bodde and Brandy had half chances.
