Swansea City welcome Doncaster Rovers to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Roberto Martinez's Squad will go into this game full of confidence after outclassing Premiership side Reading in the 1-0 Carling Cup defeat on Tuesday Night.
Doncaster also played in the 2nd round on Tuesday but were dumped out of the competition by Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
Doncaster are not in form after losing their last three games and have conceded 6 goals in the last three games alone.
Roberto Martinez:
| "Doncaster are one of the best sides in League One,'' "They play exciting and attacking football and I can guarantee you they will be a force this season. "Tactically and technically they are one of the best teams in the division; their passing and movement is out of this division. "They share the same footballing philosophy as us. They like to attack and score goals, so you should see a great advert for League One football on Saturday. "They will also be desperate for a result after a slow start to the season and we are in for a huge, huge test because, like us, they want to get promoted.'' |
Swansea City will be without Alan Tate after he fractured his Knee Cap before the Carling Cup 2nd Round clash vs Reading. That injury will keep him out of action for the next 6 weeks.
Marcos Painter is also ruled out with a foot injury sustained before the game with Walsall last Saturday.
Darren Way and Owain Tudur Jones are also out of contention with long term injuries.
Martinez should welcome back Ferrie Bodde and Darren Pratley after they were rested for the midweek Carling Cup game.
The Swans is likely to name an unchanged side from the one that beat Walsall away last Saturday.
Ferrie Bodde has shown he is in a different class in League One with his Vision and passing in the centre of midfield.
Bodde has been a contender for Man of The Match every game he has played in.
Doncaster must keep him from dictating play if they are to gain the upper hand.
Doncaster will be without Defender Graeme Lee, former Swansea City Midfielder Jason Price, Northern Irish midfielder Kevin Horlock and Brian Stock who is recovering from a hernia operation.
James Hayter signed from AFC Bournemouth this summer will be a handful for the Swansea defense.
With 2 goals to his name this term so far Hayter has an eye for goal and a good touch.
Monk and Lawrence will have to contain his threat.
The Form Book based on the last 4 results:
Swansea City:

Doncaster Rovers:

Mr Whitestone has officiated in two games this season in League Two and League One and has given 5 yellow cards.
After the poor form of Doncaster Rovers going into this game and the dominance of Swansea City I predict a 3-1 win for the home side.
