Swansea vs Huddersfield

Swansea City will be hoping to put their season back on track this weekend after suffering a heavy 3-1 defeat away at Gillingham last Saturday.

Peter Jackson and his side arrive at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow, and they are experiencing a difficult time so far this year as they curently sit in 19th place, compared to last season when they narrowly missed out on the play-offs.

Vital Quotes:

Kenny Jackett:

'We need to bounce back with a good performance and result against Huddersfield,''

'Previous games between us have been very entertaining affairs with a lot of good football and plenty of goals.

'We care just six points behind leaders Nottingham Forest, but people have got to remember there is a very long way to go. In fact, we've still got 111 points to play for.

'But if we can play with passion, commitment, enthusiasm and quality tomorrow, I know the supporters will get right behind us and drive us on to the three points.''

Swansea Team News:

There will be late fitness tests for Kevin Amankwaah and Lee Trundle as both have been struggling with injuries this week.

With Amankwaah possibly missing tomorrow, Alan Tate could return to right back with Way replacing him in midfield.

Owain Tudur-Jones and Garry Monk are still sidelined with injuries.

Player to watch: Leon Knight

Seems to be on form recently and is continuing to score frequently. He's also forming a good partnership with Akinfenwa.

Huddersfield Team News:

There was good news for Jackson as Chris Brandon and defender David Mirfin returned to full training this week.

Nathan Clarke is rated 50-50 while Jackson's assistant Terry Yorath won't make an appearance as he is receiving treatment after falling ill recently.

Player to watch: Gary Taylor-Fletcher

The midfielder has scored 4 goals this season and no doubt he'll cause some problems for us tomorrow.

Match Facts & Stats

Last season we drew 2-2 with Huddersfield at home and the game was shown live on Sky Sports.

We threw away a 2-goal lead and playing well in the opening half. We lost the away game 3-1.

We last beat Huddersfield at home 3 years ago in the 2003/04 season.

Match Prediction:

Huddersfield are lacking confidence and are in 19th place so I think we're capable of getting back to winning ways tomorrow with a 2-1 win.
