Swansea City face a tricky test at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday as 10th-placed Scunthorpe United look to end our 3-match winning run at home.

New loan signing Frank Nouble could make his debut after joining from West Ham United - the young striker gives Rodgers a big boost and he's most likely to be named amongst the substitutes.

The Iron don't seem to have suffered any setbacks following the departure of Nigel Adkins as caretaker boss Ian Baraclough saw his new side beat Sheffield United 4-0 at Bramall Lane in midweek. Both managers are expecting tough games, Swansea struggled somewhat to hang on to the 2-1 midweek win against Coventry, while the Iron are fully aware how good we can be on home soil.

Swansea City Team News:

Brendan Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns since Tuesday's victory and he could name the same side that beat Coventry City in midweek.

Frank Nouble arrives and is 'raring to go' so he's likely to be named on the bench.

Player to watch: Scott Sinclair

Another man of the match performance from the new winger and he's proving to be a superb signing by Rodgers. His pace and trickery on the left wing is causing all sorts of problems for opposition defenders. Nathan Dyer is also equally as good.

Scunthorpe United Team News:

From Vital Scunthorpe:

The Iron head to South Wales for caretaker boss Ian Baraclough's 2nd game in charge of the Iron, and if the first result can be replicated often enough: then the Iron may not miss departed Nigel Adkins too much after all.

Off the back of a 4-0 annaihalation of Sheffield United at Brammal Lane: there should hopefully be a new-found optimism round the Iron.

They are likely to be unchanged: although defender Rob Jones is hoping to be back in contention having recovered from a knee injury suffered last Saturday.

Garry Thompson and Jim McNulty are still likely to be out for at least another week though.

Player to watch: Chris Dagnall

The persistent and predatory Scouse forward finally got off the mark for the Iron with 2 brilliantly taken goals for the Iron on Tuesday night.

From Vital Scunthorpe:

His pace, power and deceptive strength caused Sheffield United's centre-halves an absolute nightmare on Tuesday: and if on form and recieves good service - then the same result may not be out the question for the Iron.

Match Facts & Stats

Both sides go into the game on the back of a win, Scunthorpe United won 4-0 at Sheffield United while the Swans beat Coventry City 2-1.

Scunthorpe United are 10th while the Swans are 13th, both teams have 9 points from 6 games.

Swansea edge the head-to-head battle, with 25 wins vs Scunthorpe's 21, the two sides have drawn 13 times.

Last season the result for this fixture at the Liberty Stadium was a 3-0 win for the Swans, Edgar, Williams and Kuqi were the goalscorers.

The Iron last beat us at home in the League in the 2006/07 season, bearing us 2-0.

Match Prediction:

Scunthorpe United were the favourites for relegation before the season started and although it's still very early on in the campaign, the Iron are proving a lot of their critics wrong so far.

Rodgers is certainly not under-estimating the opposition and Scunthorpe will come here looking to attack - so it should be an entertaining and open game. If we can continue to play with the same attacking quality as we have done at home so far, then I can only see one outcome and that's a home win. SWANSEA CITY 2-1 SCUNTHORPE UNITED
