Paulo Sousa's men travel to the City Ground in terrific form. The Swans are unbeaten in eleven Championship games and lie in fourth place, one place below their opponents. Five points separates the two sides but the Swans have a game in hand over their rivals.
Nottingham Forest were the last team to beat Swansea in the Championship thanks to a goal from David McGoldrick when the two teams met at the Liberty Stadium. Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in their last 13 league games at the City Ground, winning 12 of those.
'The feeling is good,'
'This is the environment that I want to achieve with the club because it is what it deserves.
'And by beating Nottingham Forest we will get closer to them with a game in hand, and that could create a negative impact for them.'
George Boyd is poised to make his debut on Saturday after joining Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan from Peterborough.
Garath McCleary is back for The Reds after serving a three-match suspension but Radoslaw Majewski faces a late fitness test after playing 45 minutes for Poland against Bulgaria on Wednesday. Julian Bennett will not be risked so soon after making his return for the reserves from a 14-month lay-off with knee ligament damage.
Taken from Vital Forest:
The on loan Peterborough winger will add goals and assists to Forest's promotion push. He had played in all but one of the posh's games this season scoring 9 times & adding a further 9 assists to their survival hopes.
Darren Pratley has declared himself fit after suffering a knee injury in the 1-0 win over Peterborough. The highly-rated midfielder limped off midway through the first-half but the injury isn't serious and he returned to training on Thursday.
Ferrie Bodde (knee), Garry Monk (calf), Fede Bessone (calf), Joe Allen (knee), Albert Serran (hamstring), Jordi Lopez (ankle) and Andrea Orlandi (hamstring) are all sidelined. David Cotterill faces a late fitness test after injuring his hamstring while playing for Wales on Wednesday. Gorka Pintado is suspended after being sent off against Derby County at Pride Park.
Darren Pratley declaring himself fit for the match will be a massive boost for the Swans as they go to a side looking for automatic promotion in the Premiership.
We missed him and lost our shape in midfield when he was replaced last Saturday.
In 55 League contests between the two sides, Forest have 22 of them, Swans have won 20 with 13 draws.
Swansea City will be looking to get some revenge over Forest after they were one of only 2 teams who have managed to beat us at home this season.
No other team has won more games at home than Forest, Newcastle United have also won 13 games on home soil.
Forest have won 9 consecutive matches at home, Swansea City have yet to lose in 2010.
It's 3rd against 4th in the Championship, a Swansea City win would put us just 2 points away from Forest with a game in hand.
It's one of our toughest tests so far this season and we all know about their quality after losing 1-0 to them at home earlier in the season. They're a confident side at the City Ground, hard to beat, but so are we and therefore an exciting game is expected. Sousa has some injury problems in midfield so this will test our strength and depth plus our character. Hopefully we can maintain our unbeaten run this year, and hold them to a 1-1 draw.
