Swansea City head back up north to Nottingham Forest this weekend and will be looking to get valuable 3 points after drawing their last 2 games.
Angel Rangel and Gorka Pintado scored to complete a superb comeback on Tuesday night at Derby, as a Porter brace gave Clough's side a 2-goal lead just after the break.
Our defence throughout the game as Derby had chance after chance to win comfortably on the night. The woodwork saves us twice, a goal was disallowed for offside and De Vries made a few excellent saves.
Ashley Williams admitted his centre-back partnership with Albert Serran didn't work as a unit as they struggled to cope with Derby's pressure. The back four will be tested again on Saturday with the likes of Robert Earnshaw and former loanee and Liverpool winger Paul Anderson.
A win at the County Ground would complete the double over Forest, following our 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium back in August 2008. Pintado scored his first goal for the Swans, and he won't score many better than his sublime strike with the outside of his right foot.
Whilst the Swans have continued their success under Roberto Martinez following last year's Championship winning season, Forest, who also won promotion from League One, have struggled with the step up in standard.
Former Derby boss Billy Davies has now taken over at the club, following a poor start under Colin Calderwood and hopes to avoid a second successive relegation.
Billy Davies on new loan signing McSheffrey:
'He's a player I've admired for several years. He's a major threat as both a creator and scorer of goals and I'm sure he'll be a great acquisition for us.
'It's a fresh challenge for him coming to the City Ground and I'm very much looking forward to working with him over the course of the next month.'
Swansea defender, Ashley Williams explaining their defensive performance at Derby:
"We weren`t solid enough together,"
"We`ve played together a few times, but it didn`t work well at Derby for whatever reason.
"But it can work, no doubt about that, and we have a few days to put it right.
Nottingham Forest are likely to hand a debut to new loan signing Gary McSheffrey, who arrives at the City Ground on a 1-month loan spell from fellow Championship side Birmingham City.
Defender Wes Morgan sits out the game with a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking, James Perch is back after his ban and Guy Moussi could return following a long-term ankle injury.
I'm sure the Swans fans making the trip tomorrow will have a keen eye on the winger, his pace could be a problem for Tate who'll need to be solid throughout. Robert Earnshaw has been scoring quite a few lately and Williams and Serran will need to deal with his pace as well.
Roberto Martinez has no fresh injury worries from Tuesday's game at Derby but we expect him to make some changes to his side. Mark Gower was rested for the game and didn't even make the bench so he could be back on the wing.
Darren Pratley is recovering from a shoulder injury but he's likely to keep his place on the bench for now.
Gorka Pintado made a great return at Derby following a hernia operation and he'll be a big boost to us on the bench as an impact player for us.
Nathan Dyer has been struggling to impress in recent games and his place could be under threat unless he shows signs of improvement soon. Andrea Orlandi improved things for us when he came on in mid-week and he's pushing for a start.
Garry Monk is still out with a back injury which means hopefully Williams and Serran can improve their defensive partnership in the centre.
He was our man of the match in midweek after his return from a thigh injury. He's been a superb consistent performer for us in the centre of midfield and has a good partnership with Britton alongside. Pratley is back and is pushing for a League start but it would be harsh to drop the youngster.
Head to Head: Nottingham Forest - 21 wins, 12 draws, Swansea wins - 21.
Our last win at the City Ground was two 3 years ago in 2006. We won 2-1 thanks to goals from Adrian Forbes and Lee Trundle.
Since then, we've lost 1 and drawn 1 away at Forest.
Billy Davies' side have won their last 2 games, beating Reading 1-0 and winning 2-1 at home to Preston.
Forest are currently 18th in the table, 3 points ahead of the bottom 3 and 13 points adrift of the Swans.
Tomorrow's hosts have won just 5 games on home soil, with 7 defeats and 6 draws.
Forest are 7th in the recent home form table, averaging 2 points a game in the last 5.
Swansea City need to push on now after drawing their last 2 games. They've struggled to pick up points on their travels and they need to get their play-off chase back on track. I'm going with an optimistic 2-1 win for the Swans.
