Swansea Vs Yeovil

Last Saturday Swansea City secured promotion to the Championship, this week with two games remaining the club can clinch the league one title should the Liberty Stadium club win over a Yeovil Town side, looking to widen the gap between themselves and the relegation places.

It has been a whirl wind season for Roberto Martinez`s squad and it looks all set to accumulate in a promotion party like the club have not seen since the clubs promotion from league two a few years ago.

All that stands in the way of the club who have performed so consistently over the course of the season are a Yeovil Town side that have so far this season have not lived up to their early promise. Earlier on in the season Swansea broke the Huish Park hoodoo with a 2-1 win back in late October. Just weeks later the two sides met again in the Johnstones Paint Trophy Southern Section Quarter Finals, a 41st minute strike by Guillem Bauza proved to be the difference as the Swans secured passage to the semi finals of the competition..

The club are expecting a sell out as fans are snapping up their tickets to revel in the promotion party and with 18,000 Swansea supporters expected to be in attendance on Saturday.

More pre match build up to come…..

Vital Quotes:

Yeovil Town Manager Russell Slade Told BBC Somerset:

"We're going to have to put the ball into the back of the net, something that we've found difficult from time to time this season.""We have to work exceptionally hard off the ball because they're a good passing side. They`ve got a lot of threats in the side and if you've not got that work ethic and that attitude to deal with that side of it then you're on a loser to start off with."

Swansea City Manager Roberto Martinez told Vital Swansea:

""I think you don`t need much when you got the possibility to try and compete for a title; I think the focus and the concentration will be there especially with the kind of group of players we have here who have shown a great responsibility throughout the season.

" We know its going to be difficult they are not safe yet mathematically, they need to get some points and that will make them a very dangerous team, if we can be positive and getting the confidence of Gillingham result when you can seal promotion you can really express yourself and try to be positive with our approach. I`m really looking forward to what will be a special occasion as well as a good game

Swansea City's injury woes have eased ahead of the title decider on Saturday with the news the defenders Garry Monk and Angel Rangel are back in contention. The only major omission in Dutch midfeilder Ferrie Bodde who is out of the clash with a groin strain.

league one's top shot:

The striker could prove to be the difference come Saturday afternoon.

Yeovil Town Team News:

I'm sure i remember Marcus Stewart scoring the Yeovil goal in a 1-1 draw last season. We could do with Monk and Williams together to keep him quiet.
