I love how he thinks a 33% shot conversion is poor. I also like that he prefers to play in CAM, which definitely suits him better for the reasons he stated, rather than one of those attacking midfielders or wingers who are put there because that is where they play best but constantly claim they want to be a striker.

Isn't it great that we have such a self-appraising and self-critical squad. Graham saying he agreed he should have been dropped, Michu bemoaning a 33% conversion rate, Ben Davies playing really well but saying he's still got a lot to learn, Ashley Williams admitting to a bad patch. Sure bodes well for how much we can and probably will improve going into the second half of the season. There just don't seem to be any prima donnas - no Balotteli's or Tevez's for us. Speaks to the thoughtful way we recruit for personality as well as skill.

and this brings us back to Laudrup's Philosophy when he joined us " I'm going to trim down the squad and make them competitive, that way they will have the hunger to play well " How true that was.
