No idea why he'd be happy with that performance, their fans certainly aren't. Never seen a side shoot over the bar from distance so many times in one game. So lacking in creativity it was unbelievable, boring.

I agree Kev. they didn't seem to aproach the game with any sort of organised plan,constantly trying the long ball for BA, a bit like Liverpool with Suarez they're a one trick pony.we on the other hand owe our two goals to precise finishing and well worthy of the three points

Pressure was on Pardew and his team after their last home defeat, they did look very limited up front and vulnerable at the back though as he said they were missing a few key players. There was no mention however of us also missing several first team players but we managed to adapt and the fourteen that were used all played their part in our impressive win.
