Bauza Misses Out On Award

Swansea City striker Guillem Bauza missed out on the January League One Player of the Month award after coming second to Walsall's Edrissa Sonko.

The Spanish striker was one of four nominees for the acolade having produced some impressive performances lately.

He inspired us to victory on Saturday against Oldham and was involved in both goals as Febian Brandy netted the winner.

Winner of the award, Sonko, has helped Walsall rise up the league after a poor start and they now sit in 5th place.

He scored 5 goals last month, including both in a 2-2 draw against Swindon.

The Swans face Walsall on Tuesday 12th February at the Liberty Stadium.

Shame for Bauza, he deserves something for the way he has improved. We wouldn't have won that game against Oldham if it weren't for him!
