Swansea Youth Cruise To 4-0 Win

The Swansea City Youth side progress into the quarter-finals of the Welsh FA Youth Cup after a 4-0 win over Carmarthen.

David Moss watched on as Dion Chambers, Oliver Hewitt-Fisher, Kieron Howard and Casey Thomas got the goals for his side.

The young Swans will now face the New Saints FC in the next round.

We were 3-0 up already at half time having opened the scoring after just 18 minutes. Chambers had the simple task of passing the ball into an empty net after a cross from Howard.

Hewitt-Fisher then ran through on goal just before the break to get his 12th of the season.

We weren't done there, in injury time we got a third as Howard scored with a left-footed effort.

Substitute Casey Thomas then added a fourth just after the hour mark before going close late on when his shot struck the bar.

Swansea City: Callum Hawthorne (GK), Daniel Sheehan, David Kingdom (Casey Thomas, 46'), Karl Keogh, Joe Walsh, Keiron Howard, Dion Chambers, Ben Addlesbury, Jaz Richards (Anthony Finselbach, 58'), Oliver Hewitt-Fisher, Joe Harris. Sub not used: Matthew Wright.

Referee: Gary Hire (Burry Port)
