Anderson Faces 4 Weeks Out

Anderson Faces 4 Weeks Out

On loan Liverpool winger Paul Anderson will spend at least 4 weeks on the sidelines with a thigh strain.

The 19 year-old picked up the injury after just 14 minutes in last night's game away at Nottingham Forest.

The news comes as a blow to Martinez and his side but the Spaniard has adequate replacements. Tom Butler replaced him last night and he also has Leon Britton who can move over to the wing from centre midfield.

Pity that he is now injured and will be missing for 4 weeks. My thoughts last week was to rest him for a week, just missing 2 games. Our hectic schedule at the moment is very tiring, physically and mentally, for the players.
