Form Means Nothing Against Forest

Form Means Nothing Against Forest

Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez says form means nothing when you're up against teams like Nottingham Forest.

Sitting 11 points clear at the top, the Swans of course and the in-form team in League One and haven't experienced a League defeat since mid-November.

Martinez's side visit the City Ground on the back of an impressive 4-0 away win at high-flyers Doncaster.

Despite our run of wins, our form won't mean a thing tomorrow says Martinez, he told BBC Sport:

'When you play the likes of Leeds and Forest, form means nothing,'

'It's whoever adapts better in the 90 minutes that will get the good result and we need to make sure that we're ready for it.'

I think he's spot on. Despite beating one of our main promotion rivals 4-0, it doesn't mean to say the same will happen tomorrow night.

Forest will be fully aware of the task ahead of them and should be at their best against us on Tuesday night.

It certainly won't be an easy game for us and I think anything but a defeat will be a good result for us.

Fair comment I think its gonna be a tough game for us, but we still have to play to win. Its a lot more important for them not to lose than us. Good luck lads.

He's right, but then again, the form book got thrown out the window for the game against Donny, as long as the boys approach the game in the right way we will be fine, i can see us winning against forest and building up an even bigger lead.
