Bond & Morgan On Loan To Spain

Bond & Morgan On Loan To Spain

Young strikers Kerry Morgan and Chad Bond look set to join Spanish side FC Balaguer on loan - Roberto Martinez's home town club.

The striker duo have been playing on loan at Port Talbot but the Swansea manager is jetting them off to Spain for some valuable experience in Spain's 4th Division.

Providing the paperwork goes through in time, they could make their debuts on Sunday.

Roberto Martinez told the Official Site:

'It will be great experience for them both,'' explained Roberto. 'They will learn a completely different approach to the game, technically and tactically, and will be playing against the likes of Barcelona B.

'As important players playing abroad, there will be a lot of attention and expectation on them.

'Coupled together, it will be a huge boost in their development as young players.''

'I know the chairman and manager at Balaguer very well,''

'I know Chad and Kerry will be in a safe environment and they will be looked after very well.''

With Morgan and Bond's departure from the Remax Stadium, Swansea's youth striker Matthew Wright has now joined Port Talbot on loan.
