'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Martinez Linked With Real Sociedad

For the third time this season, Manager Roberto Martinez has insisted he's not going anywhere.

Former Swan Chris Coleman has resigned as manager at Real Sociedad, and Roberto Martinez has been strongly linked to take over at Estadio Anoeta.

The Swansea City manager has already been linked with managerial roles at Wigan and Newcastle this season.

Roberto Martinez told the News of the World:

'It's flattering to be linkedd with a club like Real Sociedad, but I'm staying at Swansea.'

'My aim is to help this club reach the Premier League. That could take two years - it could take five, 10 or 15 years.

'I'll move on only if Swansea decide to part company with me.

I doubt they will Roberto!

I think he will finish what he has set out to do here.

He is a true gentleman, it's great that he gives the fans assurance and has told us what he wants to do with the team in the future.

He wont go unless he is pushed and he wont be pushed at the moment. Hope he stays with us for a long time and he gets us to the Prem but as he says, it could be two years or more. he will finish what he has started with us!
