Swansea Set To Sign Man Utd Striker

As expected, Swansea City look set to add to their strikeforce this week with the loan signing of Manchester United youngster Febian Brandy.

The 18 year-old has progressed through the club's ranks and was a regular Reserve team player last season.

Roberto Martinez has been looking for a replacement signing following their failure to sign Warren Feeney.

Despite his small size, he can be a handful for defenders with his speed and skill. He prefers to drop deep to receive the ball.

Seems a promising lad, good signing.

What's the point in signing this lad ? May as well have upgraded one of our youth players or chris jones. Especially after the game against Havant, our needs are at centre back.

he sounds like a quality player though willow and we need a striker. he's in a completely different league to our youth strikers.

He is meant to be quite special tipped as an England international of the future, but his surname is Brandy.

I'm of the opininon that a more experienced loan signing would have been a better aquisition (after a CB of course) to guide us to promotion. Sheffield Utd have a wealth of strikers who surely all can't be getting a game. Beattie, Stead, Hulse, Webber, Sharp, Horsfield and Shelton. I would have thought they'd loan us one. Brandy is a good youngster, (see http://youtube.com/watch?v=8c3s5qeUS6U ). Hopefully he'll prove me wrong and be like Anderson.

he is a great player i have seen him play for manchester united reserves last season and scored a hatrick that night, i think he will fit in will to our squad but as everyone else is saying, we need a centre back more than anyone else.
