Swansea On Striker Hunt

Former loanee striker Warren Feeney's future has taken a huge step back as Roberto Martinez expressed his concerns over signing the striker.

Martinez was pursuing the Northern Ireland International but wage demands and no firm assurances over his ankle injury could be sought.

Swansea have been thought to be in the hunt for Blackpool's out of form Striker Keigan Parker after the Scottish striker failed to agree terms with Barnsley.

Pool manager Simon Grayson had excepted what is thought to be a £200,000 from the Oakwell based side for the strikers services. Grayson has added fuel to the fire with the attempts to lure strikers Lee Miller from Aberdeen and Dundee United 's Noel Hunt to Bloomfield road.

The two bids have been rejected however with Blackpool on the look out to boost their strike force Parker's position should they secure the players they need will become increasingly unstable.

Guillem Bauza's emergence in recent weeks has given Martinez a few headaches over the possibility of adding to the already impressive Swansea squad.

Martinez Told The Evening Post

'It seems as though it's going to be very, very difficult to agree something over Warren"

We will be looking at the next transfer window for that one, so we'll see what develops."

That means we need to replace Warren now if we can, although Guillem Bauza has taken his opportunity very well in recent weeks.'

focus will be on Swansea City's FA Cup 3rd round replay at Westleigh Park against Havant and Waterlooville tomorrow.
